Conservation Camp

For nearly 25 years, CCEEC has been offering a week-long, overnight camping experience for young people interested in the outdoors. Conservation Camp is held in mid-August, and is open to children ages 8 through 12 (older and younger children are admitted under certain circumstances).

For lack of overnight facilities at CCEEC, the camp is held at Hickory Run State Park, and a more beautiful setting could not be had.

Campers enjoy whitewater rafting, hikes, scientific explorations, games and crafts. They’re also treated to three healthy, home-made meals daily, and one evening campfire complete with hot dogs and smores. Lifelong friends are made at Conservation Camp, where the thrill of your first extended stay away from home is a positive and memorable one.
