Mauch Chunk Lake Park
Located on the outskirts of historical Jim Thorpe, this 2300-acre county park is perfect for that family getaway. Whether you are visiting the park for a day, or camping for a week, MCLP has much to offer. Fish, swim, paddle, row or simply enjoy the beauty of Mother Nature while lounging on the clean sandy beach next to Mauch Chunk Lake. Hike, bike, or ski the scenic and historic switchback gravity railroad trail which runs right through the park. (Cross-country ski rentals are available) Park trails extend all the way to CCEEC!
